Sourced from UK-based Eurotron Instruments, Instrotech has introduced the MicroCal documenting process calibrator in an intrinsically safe version certified to ATEX II G EEx ia II CT4. The MicroCal 20 Plus is designed to calibrate process parameters likely to need adjustment in areas where explosive gases are present. General features include the following:
* Calibration of temperature, pressure, voltage, frequency and resistance.
* Dual channel display for simultaneous IN-OUT, IN-IN.
* Measure and source 14 types of thermocouple and 10 RTDs.
* 24 Vd.c. loop power supply (12 Vd.c. for IS).
* Connection for internal and external pressure module up to 700 bar.
* Pressure switch and leak test.
* Rechargeable battery.
* Hold, zero, scale, min/max, tare and flow.
* Automatic ramp/step with programmable time, step and dwell.
The MicroCal20 Plus series has a built-in pressure module and can measure with both internal pressure sensors and plug and play remote pressure modules. There is a wide choice of ranges both absolute and gauge, with typical accuracies of 0,025%.
Powerful time saving and error elimination have been added to the comprehensive functionality. These include field error calculation with the pass/fail report. The calibrator calculates pass/fail field status for an immediate assessment and correction reducing calibration time and eliminating human error.
The optional CalPman software allows users to create, upload and download calibration procedure for report printing and data analysis.
