IIR hosts power and production conference
April 2008
News
The Institute of International Research (IIR) is proud to present the Optimising Power and Production Conference taking place at the Southern Sun Garden Court, O.R. Tambo International Airport on 5, 6 and 7 May 2008.
Due to the power outages that South Africa has been experiencing lately, most organisations have been losing production time resulting in lost revenue. The event addresses powerful topics and is presented by industry leaders who will give industrial organisations ideas on how to save power while optimising production.
Delegates will obtain insight into how their organisations can adapt practical energy saving initiatives in day-to-day production processes from organisations that have already taken the first steps in power saving, including:
* SAPREF: Achieving high electrical energy efficiency for the process plant.
* Mondi Business Paper: How to use by-products to generate electricity.
* Transnet Rail Engineering: An approach to energy efficiency management.
* South African Association of Esco’s: The benefits of demand market participation (DMP).
Not to be missed: A full-day workshop on co-generation methodologies the organisation can adapt to generate its own power.
Ensure that you do not lose money or production – book your seat now!
