Two-pole surge arresters

The DEHNrail M Type 3 arresters provide protection against common and differential mode interference. The modular two-pole devices are designed to protect electronic equipment in industrial and commercial applications to the requirements of EN 61643-11 Class 3. A zinc oxide varistor in combination with a spark gap allows nominal discharge currents up to 5 kA with overvoltage protection. A coding system on the base indicates the device type to facilitate the appropriate choice of product.

DEHNrail M devices are designed for 35 mm DIN rails and provide input and output terminals for series connection in circuits up to 25 Amps. An integral locking system connects the module and base and ensures that electromagnetic forces are absorbed, while the quick release button allows for easy exchange of the protection module. In addition to the standard visual LED indication, a floating changeover contact has been included for remote signalling to control devices.
