In the process industry there are many applications where dust occurs. Pressure measuring instruments for such environments require an ATEX approval for dust hazardous areas. The IUT universal pressure transmitter and the IPT process pressure transmitter can be used without any problems in these kinds of applications. In addition to the gas categories, 1/2G, 2G and 3G, these transmitters are also certified for use in the dust categories, 1/2D, 2D and 3D.
This pressure transmitter family is ideally suited to a range of applications from the food and beverage industry (eg, cereal processing and vitamin powder production) to saw-mills or detergent production.
