Certification for Bearing Man

March 2008 News

The Bearing Man Group of Companies, South Africa’s leading specialists in bearings, seals, power transmission components, electric and geared motors and belting, as well as fasteners, was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2003 and has recently been re-certified until December 2009.

Belting Solutions, a division of Bearing Man, has also recently been certified to the ISO18001:1999 Health and Safety standards. This management system is in the process of being rolled out to other belting hubs.

“The implementation of this internationally recognised quality management system confirms Bearing Man’s commitment to providing its diverse customer base with a range of quality branded products, enhanced by a world class technical advisory and support service,” says Maurice Isenberg, Bearing Man’s quality manager. “We believe that quality is of paramount importance and the procedures and instructions that have been developed and entrenched, ensure that the quality of our products and service exceed customers expectations.”
