The Bearing Man Group of Companies, South Africa’s leading specialists in bearings, seals, power transmission components, electric and geared motors and belting, as well as fasteners, was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2003 and has recently been re-certified until December 2009.
Belting Solutions, a division of Bearing Man, has also recently been certified to the ISO18001:1999 Health and Safety standards. This management system is in the process of being rolled out to other belting hubs.

The company, which was established in Durban as a single bearings shop in 1974, now has a network of nearly 100 branches in South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana, Mozambique and Zambia. All branches offer a substantial stockholding, technically competent engineering support and a reliable 24-hour back-up service.
