The VEGAWELL 51 represents a new generation of suspension pressure transmitters from Vega. The instruments are used for water and waste water applications, eg, for hydrostatic level measurement in vessels and gauge measurement in deep wells. Mounting is accomplished by means of a straining clamp or a threaded fitting with a protective cover for outdoor applications.
New suspension pressure transmitter with front-flush ceramic measuring cell and integrated temperature measurement
The sensor element is the small CERTEC measuring cell, which consists of a robust ceramic diaphragm and shielded measuring cell seal. The front-flush arrangement of the measuring cell prevents build-up and makes the instruments particularly suitable for dirtied media. The slim design (diameter 22 mm) enables applications in sounding pipes down to 25 mm.
The selectable measuring ranges lie between 0,1 and 10 bar, the application temperatures between -40 and 80°C. A signal output of 4-20 mA is supplied as with a HART signal optionally available. Input supply voltage can vary from 9,6-36 V d.c. Calibration is carried out on a PC with the adjustment PACTware or via a HART handheld device. VEGAWELL 51 is supplied with an overvoltage arrester as well as ATEX and ship approvals.
A practical supplement to these instruments is the new breather housing VEGABOX 02. It includes a high-quality ventilation filter, connection terminals as well as an optional temperature sensor with separate 4-20 mA signal output.
