The new fieldbus displays by Turck enable local indication of process values provided by Profibus-PA or Foundation Fieldbus stations. Models FD-48-T317/EX and FD-49-T317/EX display up to three process values, which may originate from one or more fieldbus stations. With a display size of 30 mm and an additional 41-segment bargraph, the measuring values are clearly and easily interpreted. Values can be displayed either cyclically or manually switched.
The device is designed for non-intrusive monitoring not as a standard fieldbus station. Integration with the network is thus possible without host configuration or drive units. Parameter setup is via pushbuttons and power is supplied from the fieldbus station. Current consumption is less than 10 mA according to Turck.
