For use in clean rooms or in bulk gas supply systems, WIKA has developed the PE-230.15 UHP for ultra-high purity applications. The compact 50 mm gauge is suitable for mounting in extremely limited spaces.
The PE-230 with reed-switch and cable gland
The electro-polished case houses an electrical contact, which makes or breaks when the pressure either falls or rises. The switching function does not have to be defined during design or ordering since it is set on-site. The switch contacts operate across a wide proportion of the full scale range, and are freely scalable.
The gauge, manufactured entirely from stainless steel, meets the requirements of Ultra High Purity applications as well as the SEMI and SEMATECH standards. The units are produced under clean-room conditions including cleaning and rinsing of the wetted parts.
The gauge can be supplied in different measuring ranges and connection options. The standard version is fitted with a cable gland, the unit can also be supplied witha plug.
