Mean Well launches a new DC/DC converter

The SD-1000 series (1000W) enclosed DC/DC converter has expanded the product range in response to the demand for higher levels of output power. A wide range of DC input voltages are accommodated, 19-72 V (L type) and 72-144 V (H type) - DC output levels of -12 V, 24 V and 48 V are available and input to output isolation is 2000 V a.c. Built-in short-circuit, overload, overvoltage and over-temperature protection are provided in conjunction with input and output control signals.

Housed in a 1U low profile package, the converter is well suited to automotive and battery back-up applications where space is a constraint.
