IFM Electronics O5G500 photoelectric sensors reliably detect glass, film, bottles and transparent packaging. The O5G500 is a retro-reflective sensor with polarisation filter. In combination with a prismatic reflector, it is designed for the detection of transparent objects.

Automatic adjustment ensures reliable operation due to soiling, which may occur in industrial environments.
A teach mode allows optimal setting of the sensor for the application required. Light-on or dark-on mode is set simultaneously.
The device is suitable for fast processes due to the switching frequency of 2000 Hz and the operating range is from 50 to 1500 mm. Connection is via an M12 connector.
