VEGA, a leading manufacturer of level and pressure measuring instrumentation, has recently released a new interface adapter, which connects the USB interface of the PC with the communication interface of the plics instruments in its range.
VEGACONNECT 4 can be plugged directly into the sensor electronics and connected via the USB cable to the PC. It enables access to the instruments via the 4 to 20 mA/HART signal line. An additional power supply is not required, as the voltage supply is provided via the PC-USB interface. The parameter adjustment of VEGACONNECT 4 as well as the connected instruments is carried out via FDT/DTM technology. VEGACONNECT 4 is housed in a compact box, which also contains all necessary cables and adapters.
