125 W isolated power supplies

Mean Well has added two more 125 W isolated dual output models to its G3 series high reliability miniature product family. The RID-125-1205 and RID-125-2405 models are AC/DC switching power supplies that can provide 125 W and require only free air convection.

Consistent with the features of other G3 series products, all the electrolytic capacitors in these two new models are rated at 105°C. The models can withstand 300 V a.c. input surge for 5 seconds and 5 g vibration, making then well-suited for operation in harsh environments.

With 12 V or 24 V main output channel (Ch1) and up to 180% of high peak load capability and 5 V 3 A (Ch2) for logic control usage, they are ideal for motor-based machinery, automation equipment, test equipment, POS systems, printers or plotters. The isolated design between Ch1 and Ch2 prevents noise originating from a motor load from entering control circuits.

Other standard functions include short-circuit, overload, and over voltage protections. Approved to UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE, these supplies measure 199 x 98 x 38 mm.
