New african home for vibration and infrared thermography

September 2007 News

R&C Instrumentation has announced its appointment as the sole distributor for both ProvibTech vibration monitoring equipment and Hawk IR, the manufacturer of the only ATEX certified thermal imager.

ProvibTech, (formally PredicTech) is a growing manufacturer and service provider for vibration monitoring, measuring, and analysis products. It provides one of the industry's most complete offerings for the monitoring and protection of critical machines and balance of plant machines. The company believes that attention to quality, value and customer service are the key to its success and growth.

ProvibTech's product line includes: a new multichannel 19" rack vibration monitor, vibration sensors, 4-20 mA/digital vibration transmitters/monitors, proximity probes, handheld vibration meters and vibration data-collectors. ProvibTech is ISO9001 quality certified. And many products are CSA and ATEX certified for hazardous areas and CE certified in Europe.

Hawk IR International, is a global leader in infrared safety products. With world-firsts such as arc-resistant infrared windows, low cost flexible IR ports and the revolutionary fixed and portable ATEX certified infrared cameras for use in explosive atmospheres.

Hawk IR International is a family company based in the UK with direct offices in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe and worldwide distribution networks to ensure the sale of infrared safety products.

With the growing need for portable and continual on-line monitoring of plant conditions the need for quality vibration and infrared products is increasing. The new ability to measure safely in hazardous areas with thermal imaging cameras, both portable and fixed, complements R&C's extensive range of Raytek infrared products.
