INOR has introduced the IPAQ C201, the first of a number of temperature transmitters in the new IPAQ Line. This is an analogue, PC-programmable, 2-wire, in-head transmitter for Pt100 input. Three different Pt100 standards can be chosen as well as 2- or 3-wire connection.
An intrinsically safe version for use in hazardous areas with an ATEX: II 1 G EEx ia IIC T4-T6 approval is also available.
The transmitter's 4-20 mA output signal is temperature linear and the accuracy is specified to the higher of ±0,1°C or ±0,1% of span. The instrument has a rugged moulded housing, capable of withstanding 10 g vibrations and the terminals are fitted with non-loosenable screws and test connections. It is designed to fit inside connection heads type DIN B or larger.
The transmitter needs no further calibration once the range has been setting using the ConSoft PC configuration software.
The C201 is cost-effective and carries a 5-year warranty.
