MÜTEC Instruments in Germany has acquired DYNA Instruments, a German manufacturer of inline moisture and mass flow measurement systems. MÜTEC Instruments is a manufacturer of sensors for the bulk material industry and SIL2-transmitters for safety relevant applications. It is a subsidiary of the FineTek group in Taiwan. DYNA Instruments is also a manufacturer of sensors for the bulk material industry, with a strong focus on innovative mass flow measurement systems. The company is well-known in the bulk material industry for its unique mass flow measurement systems and also offers a wide portfolio of dust meters, as well as a unique inline particle size measurement device, DYNAsize.
All products will be continued and new products will be added. MÜTEC will continue to offer the entire DYNA Instruments product portfolio and invest into the improvement and development of new products. The development, production and sales teams will be merged, creating the strongest supplier worldwide of measurement technology for the bulk materials industry. This complements MÜTEC’s leading position as a manufacturer of transmitters for safety-relevant applications.
Eike Frühbrodt, managing director of MÜTEC, says: “We are delighted that DYNA Instruments is joining the MÜTEC family. DYNA employees are experts in bulk solids and our customers will benefit from their unique experience. We cannot wait to launch DYNA products, such as the new inline particle size measurement system.“
Managing directors of DYNA Instruments, Klaus Dybeck and Ralf Nagel added: “With MÜTEC, we have found a partner that will invest in our products and ramp up production. It is the perfect match, a company from the same industry with a strong R&D; and production team. In addition, MÜTEC brings additional products for our customers, such as their robust inline moisture measurement system.“ The DYNA Instruments brand will be retained. Dybeck and Nagel will continue with the company. Their 30 years of experience in bulk materials will be a great support for existing and new customers.
Mecosa is the sole agent for MÜTEC Instruments and DYNA Instruments in southern Africa.
