Long range position sensors for conveyors

The new IMC position sensors from IFM Electronic have long sensing ranges of up to 40 mm making them suitable for conveying applications. The rectangular designed sensors feature two clearly visible corner LEDs that can be seen even under adverse installation conditions. By loosening the adjusting screw, the sensing face can be rotated to five different positions.
The long sensing ranges of 20 mm (flush) and 35 and 40 mm (non flush) are ensured over the entire temperature range. IMC position sensors provide protection against mechanical damage ensuring higher machine uptime. Housed in reinforced plastic housing, the sensors meet IP67 protection requirements and they have a rotating M12 connector.
