Instralec has represented Sunx in KZN for 14 years. The range is well represented in the following industries: pharmaceutical; rubber and plastic; automotive; food; material handling.
In particular the new Sunx light curtain type SF4-AH series, some of the industry's smallest light curtains, are available in both NPN or PNP, dimension 21x28 mm. Beam pitch is 20 mm. The SFA-AH light curtains have two independent CPUs which mutually check the safety conditions as well as a failure mode and effect analysis. The SF4-AH continually performs self checking on its internal circuitry and checks for interference from extraneous light (ELCA).
The units are available with splatter protection covers for protection from oil and welding splatter. A big advantage of the SF4-AH is the ability to blank out certain beams without affecting the unit in certain manufacturing processes. Cables are available in lengths of 3,7 and 19 m with or without connectors.
