Elquip brings precision bandsaw blades to metal working industry

Elquip Solutions places a premium on supplying fine quality products to its clients and so, after researching the alternatives in the market, it is very pleased to be associated with the German-based company Röntgen for its high quality bandsaw blades.

This is according to Mike Cronin, managing director of Elquip Solutions, an established local provider of quality global electrical, automation, mechanical and consumable products.

"Röntgen has been manufacturing and distributing bandsaw blades for cutting and finishing metal for more than 100 years. Its focus on ongoing development and improvement has made Röntgen one of the leading companies worldwide in the field of metal cutting saw production, particularly in the area of bimetal bandsaw blades," explains Cronin.

"At Elquip Solutions we are constantly sourcing products that deliver efficiency, optimal productivity and quality. Röntgen's range of blades are known for the exact and continuous product testing that occurs throughout the manufacturing phases. This is one of the reasons that they are able to deliver the standard of blades that we are proud to be making available locally," he says.

Elquip Solutions' George Botha, sales manager for the Blades Division, comments: "Röntgen's product line contains various dimensions and tooth formations in the following proven bimetal qualities: bi-alfa Cobalt, bi-alfa Matrix, bi-alfa Master, bi-alfa Cobalt RP and bi-alfa RP Master.

"We are supplying customers with the new carbide-tipped Röntgen HM Titanium and carbide-sprayed quality Röntgen Grit. Because of the super-hard special carbides, that are distributed evenly in the optimum hardened and tempered structure of the tooth tips, the blades have a high resistance to wear and heat," Botha elaborates.

"This blade provides a high number of multi-edged carbide grains, either on a tooth segment or continuously sprayed, which form an extremely high number of cutting edges; thereby ensuring a very smooth surface," he adds.

"Röntgen's range of metal cutting bi-metal and carbon steel bandsaw blades are available with various tooth specifications such as: standard tooth, skip tooth, hook tooth and combi-tooth options. In addition, the blades are manufactured in various dimensions, to accommodate the diverse requirements of our customers," he continues.
