ASSTech Instrumentation's range of loadcells, manufactured in Germany by burster, is extended by the addition of a new high precision compression loadcell. The model 8527 uses proven strain gauge technology with an accuracy class of 0,05%. The loadcell can be used for the measurement of both static and dynamic compression forces.
Made of heavy-duty high-grade steel approved for aerospace technology, the model 8527 is rated for endurance strength. The convex surface for force application in the centre of the loadcell guarantees a small influence on the measuring signal. There are seven measuring ranges available from 0 to 500 N up to 0 to 100 kN.
For the amplification and evaluation of the sensor signal, burster can supply a process interface model 9714. The interface displays the measured force in six-digit high resolution with its own high accuracy of typically 0,01% F.S. It provides peak value memory, class comparator, average calculation, datalogger and serial interface. By storing a maximum of 16 data sets of any sensors the potential of the process interface is further enhanced.
The process interface combined with the high precision loadcell is ideal for many applications in research and development, test, production, and reference measuring for the check-up and set-up of force measurement installations. For quality control requirements it is possible to provide traceable manufacturers or DKD calibrations for either the loadcell or for the whole measuring chain.
