Vibration transmitters measure radial shaft displacement and shaft thrust position

The new TXR and TXA proximity probe transmitters from Metrix represent a step forward in vibration proximity transmitters. The model TXR 5465 measures radial shaft displacement and the TXA 5488 is used to monitor shaft thrust position.
This new transmitter is a 2-wire loop-powered transmitter combining an eddy current probe driver and a signal conditioner in a single package. It provides a 4-20 mA signal proportional to overall peak to peak displacement and operates with Metrix probes and extension cables as well as four major probe systems. A separate probe driver is not required. A DC voltage output proportional to probe gap is also available.
