New converter for Krohne Coriolis measuring instruments

The MFC 300 is Krohne's new converter for the Optimass Coriolis flowmeters. This product is based on the same concept as the converters used in electromagnetic flowmeters. One converter is used for all measuring applications, optimised measuring performance and the 3 x 100% diagnostics function which diagnoses problems with the measuring instrument. This converter is suitable for all process industries and can be used to determine the mass flow as well as to measure density, volume and concentration.
The MFC 300 comes with the standard approvals for use in hazardous areas, communication interfaces and outputs. The hardware is identical for all types of housing. Comprehensive diagnostic functions ensure maximum system availability and process reliability. In the unlikely event of a fault, the calibration data is redundant which means that the appliance does not have to be re-parameterised. Krohne's standard optimised operating concept has resulted in a system that is simple to start up and program.
