The MW 100 is a standalone data acquisition unit which can easily be connected to Yokogawa's DX range of paperless recorders. The unit can also be incorporated into existing PLC and DCS systems for data acquisition.
The smart modular I/O structure makes it easy to add up to 360 channels per MW100. Versatile network functions include FTP Client/Server, e-mail notification on alarm or event conditions, DHCP and time synchronising with time servers worldwide.
Powerful embedded functions enable the user to set up alarms, maths and event actions on all relevant I/O. All configurations, as well as viewing realtime and historical data is performed via a Web browser such as Internet Explorer.
Data is backed up on the unit itself in case of power failure. A Compact Flash (CF) card with a storage capacity up to 2 GB can be used. Measurement intervals range between 10 ms and 100 ms.
