Comtest, the local supplier of Fluke electronic test tools and products, has added nine new products to its family of Fluke pressure calibrators and enhanced the features of existing products. According to the company, this means that a complete pressure maintenance solution for transmitters, gauges and switches is now available.
The Fluke 718 range of pressure calibrators is designed to provide a compact, lightweight, total pressure calibration solution for transmitters, gauges and switches. In addition, this range features a new design that protects the built-in pneumatic calibration pump from fluid contamination. This allows the unit to be serviced in the field, thereby reducing service expense and overall cost of ownership. Measuring just over 20 cm in length and weighing under 1 kg, the Fluke 718 is now available in a 6,89 kPa model and three models ranging from 200 kPa to 2 MPa. It features pressure source and milli-ampere measurement to calibrate and maintain a wide range of pressure devices. An accuracy of 0,015% is specified for broad workload coverage. It includes error percentage calculation to support faster pass/fail determinations in the field, as well as switch test and min/max/hold capability.
The Fluke 717 family of pressure calibrators are now available in a 6,89 kPa model and various models covering the range from 200 kPa to 34,5 MPa. Recent production improvements have reduced the price of the this range, while enhancing it to include all the new electronic features of the Fluke 718 range.
