Rhomberg Winters has recently signed for its new agency, Datasensor - and a fully branded line of Rhomberg electronic products by INFRA in Italy which is part of the Datalogic Group of Companies worldwide. Datasensor product offering consists of photoelectric devices for detection, safety, measurement and inspection, accessories and complementary products for industrial automation.
The relationship between Rhomberg Winters and Datasensor began 16 years ago around the same time as Rhomberg began its relationship with Sick from Germany. At the time Rhomberg was sourcing an extension of its range of electronic product offering.
By mutual agreement, Rhomberg Winters has now switched from the Sick product offering to Datasensor. It has been a strategic move to a world renowned manufacturer whose competitive advantage is based on functionality of products across the spectrum. Offering a smaller range with increased functionality will ensure that stocking requirements are less while improved application processes function across all ranges.
Datasensor has been a market leader in the development of components for automatic machinery for over 30 years. Rhomberg Winters is running Datasensor product training for individual distributors throughout South Africa.
