WIKA Instruments is offering its Convy range of signal conditioning equipment.
The SC series is an AC transducer available in either voltage input or current input versions. The voltage input version accepts 0 to 150, 300, 86,6 V and 110 V a.c. signals, which, can be converted to standard instrument signals of 4 to 20 mA, 1 to 5 V, 0 to 5 V or 0 to 10 V d.c.
The current input version accepts 0 to 1 A, 5 and 6 A a.c. signals, which can also be converted to the standard instrument signals mentioned above. The unit can be DIN rail mounted or mounted directly onto a panel. The low-cost SC series transducer also saves space, measuring 25 x 100 x 128 mm (W x H x D).
The devices are also supplied with universal power supply requirements making installation easy with regard to supply power available on site at installation. Input terminals are covered by a terminal cover as added safety to plant personnel. Response time is within 0,5 seconds with a conversion accuracy of 0,5% of output span. Momentary input overload can be twice that of rated input for voltage and as high as 10 times for current inputs.
