The successful UniTrans universal pressure transmitter from WIKA is now also available for very low pressure ranges. By using a dry ceramic capacitive measuring cell a nominal pressure range of 10 kPa can be realised. The Turn Down capability enables the pressure range to be decreased further to 500 Pa.
Demanding operating conditions such as aggressive gases or liquids do not present any problem for this transmitter. With its overpressure safety, resistance to abrasion and long-term stability the UniTrans ensures outstanding operational reliability.
The complete UniTrans family now covers almost all applications. Both low pressure ranges and extremely high pressure ranges (up to 400 MPa), communication interfaces such as HART or bus technologies such as Profibus PA complete the practical range of features offered by these transmitters, which are, of course, also available with ATEX or CSA approvals for global use.
All this makes the UniTrans suitable for the most demanding of measurement requirements within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or food and beverage industries.
