Vegamet and Vegascan are new, easy to use Vega signal conditioners with connectivity for local and global networking. They can power and connect to transmitters using 4 to 20 mA, HART or HART multidrop for up to 15 sensors. It has outputs of 4 to 20 mA, RS232 and Ethernet. The new devices are also suitable for cost effective local process control, tank farms and remote inventory (or VMI) applications for one vessel or many over distributed sites.
Options of RS232 for modem connection, TCP/IP addressing for PC networks, e-mailing of values, events or status even over the phone and an integrated web page for posting readings to the Internet. Use with VEGA Visual for PC visualisation and the industry standard PACTware software to enable easy remote set up, even view echo curves. Additional useful features include; high resolution integral back lit display, ATEX approval, fault monitoring, storage and datalogging of 30 000 values. Vega can provide a fully compatible, cost effective, reliable yet simple to use level measurement solution for inventory of the customer's products or process on their scada system, PC network, or on the web. A portable, working demonstration system is available to show users how easy it is to use and connect.
