Comtest, sole authorised distributor of Fluke industrial and electrical test tools in southern Africa, recently celebrated its first birthday at the Midrand, Gauteng head offices, along with staff and members of the media. It turned out to be a double celebration as directors, Peter and Val Verwer had recently returned from a Fluke conference held in Vienna, Austria where they scooped the award for the 'Best Fluke Distributor - Export region in 2005' and 'Best Newcomer in 2005' - the first time in Fluke's history that a newcomer has won the prestigious overall best performance prize.
