The Super Magnet, created by BTI, has been designed to lock a door while an integrated electronic switch controls its state. The switch uses a unique electronic process based on an electronic decoding system which guarantees real fraud protection. The device is intended for light doors in different applications such as machine safety, fire doors or bank airlocks. Used in conjunction with the AWAX safety module, it can reach the category 4 according to EN954-1. Reliability is high, as there are no moving mechanical parts, and no wear taking place.
The compact size of the Super Magnet is adaptable to standard metal sections and it can be plugged easily and quickly by means of an M12 metallic connector. The holding force is 20 kg - which holds the door firmly closed. Two models are available depending on the applications, the - E version (unlocked under voltage), is intended for machine, and the R version (locked under voltage), is intended for fire doors.
