Hygienic pressure transmitters with scalable analog output

IFM Electronic's PL series pressure transmitters have a 4 to 20 mA analog signal that is freely adjustable within the nominal pressure range. They have a flush mounting connection for residue-free cleaning and a measuring range from -100 kPa up to 10 MPa. The ceramic measuring cell and their ability to withstand high levels of humidity and aggressive cleaning agents, ensure maintenance-free operation in CIP/SIP applications.
An optional programming tool provides fast and clear access to all sensor data. Just one press of the button and the parameter procedure is transferred to the sensor after connection. Even before connecting to the sensor, all parameters can be selected, changed and stored in the computer.
Both the 'analog start point' and 'analog end point' of the measuring range can be adjusted independently from each other. The advantage to the user is the reduced amount of sensors they have to keep in stock and at the same time, high availability. The sensors are vibration and shock resistant, and their damping function can be used to filter pressure peaks.
Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, the type PL can be connected to all commonly used hygienic process fittings by using a special connection technique. This allows maximum flexibility, simplifies stock and shortens delivery times.
