Precision pressure transmitters

December 2000 Pressure Measurement & Control

The P-1X and D-1X (digital) precision pressure transmitters are designed to offer high precision and reproducibility. System-related temperature errors are digitally compensated by means of a microprocessor and a temperature sensor integrated in the process connection.

Readings are accurate to within 0,1% in the temperature range of 0 to 50°C. The wide measuring range of 0 to 25 kPa (250 millibar) up to 0 to 100 MPa (1000 bar) enables precision measurements in high-pressure ranges (eg test benches for diesel engines).

These new precision transmitters may also be used in laboratories and in research and development, as calibration references. Options available include accuracy of 0,05%, a keypad for simple zero point adjustment and communication software (Easy Com) which includes a data logger function. The user may also choose from a variety of electrical and mechanical connections.
