The Dinel frame sensor from Gail Norton Instrumentation is intended for applications such as: dynamic detection of parts of various materials (plastic or metal), various shapes and colours; counting of parts and tools protection by ejection control of parts from a press. The detection speed of the CAD series is 10 to 15 m/s for a 4 mm diameter object. The strong aluminium housing comes in three sizes: 120, 180 and 250 mm with simple and quick adjustment by potentiometer. The device has a built in amplifier and requires 24 V d.c. with PNP/NPN outputs and a M12 plug connection.
