All-round protection for safety light curtains

New to ASSTech Process Electronics and Instrumentation are Wenglor Sensoric's new safety columns for safety light curtains which provide reliable protection against mechanical influences. They are distinguished by their diverse range of applications, in particular in cold environments.
The safety columns are of a rugged aluminium profile construction, and are available in three different heights (1252, 1703 and 2153 mm). Two different variants, with either protective disc or path-folding mirror, can be mounted onto the floor in a freestanding fashion. The safety columns can also be used in cold environments without fogging over with the help of an optional heater module.
Cushioning elements in the column's base construction assure automatic resetting in the event of mechanical influences, and also make it possible to compensate for minimal inclinations in the floor. The cable inlet can be located either at the top or bottom of the safety column.
