Intelligent photo amplifier

Telco says that its remote transmitter (LT) and receiver (LR) sensors in combination with a Telco Photo Amplifier (PA) will operate problem free through steam, oil, grease, water, fog, dirt and most other contaminations that would cause ordinary infrared sensors to fail.

This high-performance photo amplifier offers gain control, on-off time delay, signal level indication with a supply voltage ranging from 24 V a.c./d.c. to 115 V a.c. and 230 V a.c. The microprocessor controlled photo amplifier continuously surveys both the remote transmitter and receiver. If the cable to the sensor breaks, or if the sensor has an internal electrical failure, two individual LEDs on the front of the photo amplifier - one for the transmitter and one for the receiver - will clearly indicate the failing one, for easy replacement.

Telco remote sensors are small - and available either in stainless steel or polycarbonate - which ensures easy installation. They are also both shock and vibration proof due to their fully encapsulated epoxy sealed construction as well as being insensitive to a high degree of direct sunlight, and are very easy to align, even at long distances of over 70 metres.
