Fieldbus node with stepper motor control

A new range of system modules allows direct connection of drive technology components to the Wago I/O System 750. The new modules offer a number of practical advantages. It is possible to access relative and absolute positions as well as change set values during operation. Position commands can be stored in tables and can be executed in a cyclic or an event-driven manner. The inputs can be assigned several functions, which further expands the range of application.

Different acceleration ramps avoid jerky movements during operation and allow acceleration control as a function of time, distance or number of steps. Torque and current control features are included.

The range of products includes a compact 12 mm module with RS422 interface, 12 mm or 48 mm wide versions, with integrated power amplifier and a module with feedback signal input and servo functionality. All modules have standardised user interfaces, which makes changes within the system family easier. Stepper motors can now be directly connected to the Wago I/O System 750.
