For small and medium platform scales, hoppers and process weighing, Randburg-based Instrotech supplies Revere low profile, high performance stainless-steel ring torsion type loadcells.
The fully welded construction and glass-to-metal cable entry ensures that the RLC can be used successfully in harsh environments found in the food, chemical and allied process industries. The hermetically sealed loadcell holds protection to IP66 and IP68.
Available for capacities of 250 kg to 10 tonnes, the units are offered in multi-interval and multiple-range versions. Outputs are matched to ensure easy and accurate parallel connection of multiple loadcells. Accuracy classes of C2, C3, C4, C5 and C6 are in agreement with OIML recommendations R-60, with the maximum verification interval at 6000d. Bridge impedance is greater than 1 kΩ. These loadcells can also be supplied in EEx(1) versions for operation in hazardous areas.
