Whether in reservoirs, bore holes, rivers or standing water the P9911 from Applied Measurements has become the workhorse for pressure measurement for the water and sewage industry. Boksburg-based Vangard Digital is now the appointed SA distributor for UK company Applied Measurements.
With the pressure transducer's turndown ratio of 5:1, lightning protection, output stability and 3-year warranty it has built up an impressive track record. The transducer has a 2-wire 4 to 20 mA output that can be re-ranged in the field. The sensing element and associated electronics are housed in a rugged two-part stainless steel case, which provides access to the turndown facility, DIL switches and potentiometers.
