Pressure Measurement & Control
Infrastructure
Inaccurate, unreliable and fragile pressure sensors can lead to unnecessary downtime, tooling and machine wear as well as inferior products. Accurate and reliable measuring instruments are essential for both the monitoring and control of pressure in various industrial applications such as oil, air, and hydraulic processes. Gefran has introduced a new series of pressure sensors specifically designed to operate under harsh environments.
Gefran, a global leader in process control and instrumentation, has recently introduced a pressure transducer series, which is compact, robust, accurate to within 0,25% of FS, and is available at a competitive price.
The new TK series is based on the thick film extensimetric measurement principle, which Gefran has refined over the years, thus, producing reliable, high performance transducers for use in applications requiring long-distance signal transmission, in intelligent control systems. Being manufactured with an IP65 rated stainless steel cover ensures dependable operation in critical and demanding conditions.
They are available in a variety of pressure ranges from 0...300 kPa to 0...50 MPa and from -100...+100 kPa to -100 kPa...+1 MPa. Full configurability during production allows for a variety of electrical outputs (4 to 20 mA two wires/0,1 to 5,1 V d.c./0,1 to 10,1 V d.c./0 to 5 V d.c./0 to 10 V d.c./1 to 5 V d.c./1 to 10 V d.c.) and various process connections, both standard and custom.
Gefran is exclusively distributed in Sub Sarahan Africa by Unitemp. Unitemp specialises in electrical heating systems, automation and sensors, process control and instrumentation, radio telemetry, hotrunner systems and portable measuring instruments.
