Available from ETEST, this on-line tap changer filtration system ensures safe, 24-hour operation with constant filtration of the oil. Carbon is continually removed down to 300 nm (0,3 µ) and dissolved water is removed down to less than 10 ppm. The system has been field proven and laboratory tests have shown significant improvement in oil dielectric strength.

The basic model measures a compact 750 x 750 x 500 mm. It can be wall or pad mounted. A pressure switch and float switch are included as standard, ensuring full system protection at all times. Any fault condition is easily traceable through the incorporation of indicator lights. Fitting the tap changer filtration units can lengthen the service life of tap changers, extend service intervals and lower operation costs. The unit is easy to maintain and filter change outs are easily accomplished with minimal mess.

Velcon pioneered the on-line filtration of oil in Tap Changers, and many 'copy cat' systems now available on the market. Velcon believes that the incorporation of Superdri technology into the system keeps it a step ahead of the competition. More advanced systems are available with PLC controls and numerous other options including timers, heaters, automatic system isolation, etc.
