Accurate infrared temperature sensors

Sensors & Transducers
Thermacon Manufacturing (sole representative for Infrapoint in southern Africa) supplies a range of infrared 'Compact and Mini' sensors to the industry.
The intelligent and precise 2-wire IKS-Series offer high accuracy (within 0,5% up to 1800°C and within 1% up to 2500°C). Superior optics enhance the focal point. The analog output signal, 4 to 20 mA, is linear with temperature further enhancing the accuracy and repeatability of the sensor.
Accessories include air purging systems, fixed and adjustable mountings, laser pilot light and software. Typical applications include measuring temperature in the glass, steel, furnace, paper and plastic industry.
The mini infrared sensor is available in 10 temperature range units measuring from 0 to 650°C. Emissivity is fixed at 0,95, and the units are powered from a 24 V d.c. supply. Distance to spot ratio is 5:1. These units can be supplied with cooling jackets, 90° mirrors and fixed and adjustable mountings.
