Kentz Automation & Drives Vanderbijlpark was audited by Mr R.S. Mani from Lloyds of London during the second week of October 2004, and a validation audit was successfully conducted during April 2005. The Audit was passed with Certification for ISO9001:2000 Quality Management Systems.
This audit was entered into in an effort for continual improvement of the company policy whereby, amongst others, client and customer satisfaction, shareholder expectations, project uniformity and the execution of time and cost effective projects with efficient engineering and continual improvement of the business unit performance by at least 10% per annum are met. Quality standards for project management, design engineering, procurement, construction management including installation, testing and commissioning were among the audit scope.
James Cassin, Kentz Group quality assurance & HSE manager, Declan Radmall, regional quality assurance manager, Kentz South Africa, and Pieter Buhrmann, quality manager, KAD Vanderbijlpark were present during the entire execution of the audit.
All KAD employees participated in the effort to ensure the successful outcome of this very important achievement and will strive to improve even further as a team focused on the scope and intent of its QMS policy.
