Monitran, specialists in vibration and displacement measurement technology, have designed and developed the general-purpose charge output accelerometer, which is suitable for the research and development industries, as well as various instrumentation industries.
The MTN/P50 Series of accelerometers have no internal electronics, making them suitable for where external charge amplifiers have to be used, or where environmental conditions would affect the performance of other sensors, for example, in extreme temperatures or crash testing.
These accelerometers have a charge sensitivity of 50 pC/g (nominal), a capacitance of 450 pf (nominal) and transverse sensitivity of less than 5%. The MTN/P50 Series accelerometers are housed in stainless steel, weigh only 35 grams, and are sealed with IP66. They come in various options such as radiation resistant, different sensitivities, inline charge amplifiers and other mountings.
