New to Instrotech's product range is the Leo Record, a battery powered manometer, manufactured by Keller in Switzerland, with digital display to record pressure and temperature over long periods.
Accurate to within 0,1% FS, pressure can be indicated in bar, mbar/hPa, kPa, MPa, PSI, kp/cm2 (m) H2O. Ranges are -100 kPa to 300 kPa up to 0 to 100 MPa. Pressure connection is with 1/4-inch thread as standard (other threads available on request).
Leo Record uses a non-volatile memory to ensure high data security. The 3,6 V lithium battery's life is up to five years when recording every 10 seconds. Pressure is measured and displayed at a minimum of one-second intervals. The dual display indicates actual pressure and record status. A combination of event-controlled and interval recordings prevent unnecessary data being captured (for example only measuring pressure changes). Installation data and references of the measuring station can be stored in the instrument.
The simple and well structured configuration and readout software provided, Logger 4.x, can be supplied or downloaded from Keller's website. The software is compatible with Windows 2000/NT/XP/ME and 9X. The RS485 or RS232 interface allows the data file to be saved onto a PDA or PC and imported to programs such as Excel.
