Controller for DIN-rail mounting

Johannesburg-based ASSTech Process Electronics & Instrumentation's German supplier, JUMO, is offering a high-performance DIN-rail mount controller, the JUMO iTRON DR100.
Configurable as a 2-state controller with limit comparator or 3-state controller, the JUMO iTRON DR100 is suitable for a wide range of applications such as in switchgear cabinet construction or building automation. The universal measurement input allows connection of RTDs and thermocouples as well as current and voltage signals.
Dependent on requirements the JUMO iTRON DR100 can be supplied with either one relay (changeover contact) or two relays (make contact) to cover different control tasks. A 0/5 V logic output comes as standard. Process value and setpoint are shown on a 2-line, easy-to-read alphanumeric display. The controller is available for operating voltages of 110 to 240 V a.c. +10% -15%, 48 to 63 Hz or 20 to 53 V a.c./d.c. - 48 to 63 Hz. Familiar features of the JUMO iTRON series, such as timer function, ramp function and autotuning have also been integrated. The instrument can easily be configured from a PC via the set-up interface that is provided as standard. For this purpose, a set-up program and a PC interface are available as accessories.
