Formerly EEV, e2v Technologies is offering a broad range of gas sensors for the detection of combustible gases, toxic gases as well as carbon dioxide and oxygen. Three different technologies are used, these are: catalytic pellistors, non-dispursive infrared (NDIR) and electrochemical cells.

There is a gas sensor available to detect each of the following gases: carbon dioxide, methane, hydrocarbons, acetylene, oxygen, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide. (In certain cases, one sensor is available to detect two gases, for instance carbon dioxide and broadband hydrocarbons or carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide.)
