Turck is offering its Ni100R-S23XL-VP44X-H1141 as a recent addition to its line of inductive ring sensors. The 100 mm diameter S32 ring sensors have been redesigned to provide a much improved, adjustable sensitivity in an innovative one-piece construction that allows for a low cost solution in applications where a large diameter ring sensor is required. The large ring sensor is suitable for use in part detection through feeding and tube systems or parts ejection control. It can also be used in a variety of other position control, part distinction or part detection applications.
These 4-wire, 10-55 V d.c. sensors feature integral circuitry that protects against short-circuit, overload, wire-break, reverse polarity, and are available with complementary relay outputs (normally open and normally closed). It has PNP (sourcing) outputs and designed for use in industrial environments. The sensor features a durable POM plastic housing that allows it to operate in temperatures from -25 to +70°C and carries a protection rating of IP67.
