P&F has cleverly positioned the LEDs on this sensor product. There is no mistaking the switch status and operational status of this new cube-shaped inductive sensor. Whereas previous sensors had optical indicators located in difficult to view positions, the new VariKont L offers a unique 360° view.
With the bright LEDs incorporated into diagonally opposing corners of the sensor, indicating its switch and operational status, there can be no angle from which both types of indicator cannot be seen.
Advantages: LEDs visible from all angles, tool-free mounting of the sensor head, extended attachment options on the joint, improved installation, improved chemical properties, protective insulation, robust casing.
The mounting bracket has a quick-release lever to allow the sensor head to be mounted and removed without the need for tools. This saves a lot of time in installation. The sensor head too can be rotated and twisted without the need for screws or any other tools, so that the sensor face can be positioned towards the target in many different directions. These sensors are available in DC, npn or pnp, three or four wire versions with sensing ranges 20 mm (embeddable) or 40 mm (non-embeddable).
