AC/DC current probe measures up to 500 A
October 2004
Maintenance, Test & Measurement, Calibration
LEM is offering its PR55 current probe for AC and DC current measurement up to 50 A rms and pulse current measurements up to 500 A peak with accuracy at frequencies up to 1 MHz. The new probe is ergonomic, robust and easy-to-use. It weighs only 150 g, has a 12 mm aperture and connects to any oscilloscope via its BNC connector.
Designed for applications including switch mode power supplies, UPSs and other electronic circuits working at high frequencies, the PR55 is particularly suitable for development departments and on-site inspections. The PR55 can be powered from an external 12 to 15 V d.c. 200 mA power supply. It complies with the EN 61010-1, EN 61010-2-031 and -032 safety standards.
