Baumer's range of level monitoring equipment from Temperature Control, includes four different principles for measuring filling levels, ie capacitive proximity switches, pressure sensors, ultrasonic sensors and optical sensors.
Series 12 capacitive proximity switches are designed to prevent switching errors caused by water residues and accumulations of dirt on the sensor membrane. Secondly, the company's front-flush thin-film metal pressure sensors offer highly reliable pressure measurements for crystallising and perishable media at temperatures ranging from -40 to +130°C. The sturdy membrane, manufactured from stainless steel, can tolerate cleaning processes with brushes, cloths or aggressive cleaning agents. The third option covers the ultrasonic sensor range that works on the echo measurement principle - ensuring that readings cannot be corrupted by jam or other delicacies in transparent packaging. Finally, the Series 18 optical sensors has a Teach-in key that makes child's play of programming.
