Technology conferences
September 2004
News
With the current demands placed on engineers and managers to drive production and improve efficiencies, the pressures of the plant do not readily afford excessive times away for staff to learn new technologies that could assist them in achieving their manufacturing demands.
GE Fanuc is hosting conferences in four South African cities to introduce engineers and managers to new technology that was designed specifically to help them. The conference consists of nine lectures presented by overseas experts that discuss topics such as:
* Transforming manufacturing data into plant intelligence.
* Using efficiency, quality and production data to drive manufacturing improvements.
* The benefits of implementing change management systems.
* Critical control systems for the process industry.
Managers, engineers, and quality and production staff are welcome to attend without charge by confirming their attendance via fax to 031 583 2626 or e-mail [email protected]. The dates of the conferences are as follows:
27 September: Port Elizabeth, Port Elizabeth Technikon.
29 September: Johannesburg, Caesar's Gauteng.
1 October: Cape Town, The V&A Pavilion Conference Centre.
5 October: Durban, Zimbali Conference Centre.
For more information contact Daniel Coetzee, GE Fanuc, 031 583 2602.
